Remembering a Favorite: Timeless Tour
It was one of the hottest August days in history. We were sweltering... wondering how did they live like this back then in 1901. However, the house and gardens were a delight. We followed our personal tour guide through the house and then had lunch on the veranda after. The MOUNT in Lenox in Massachusetts, the home of Edith Wharton, an American novelist, short story writer, playwright, and one of the first interior designers is a museum and garden for exploring. Thankfully it has been preserved for all to enjoy. Look up to explore from your computer. Maybe someday we can go there in person to enjoy again. https://www.edithwharton.org/discover/edith-wharton/
